TrekCo for Schools

TrekCo have been running courses for schools and colleges since 1989, and are the largest provider of outdoor education in the region with over 40 instructors. We specialise in outdoor educational days and residentials - offering year group camps, induction courses, activity days and skills courses. TrekCo's reputation is excellent and we run courses for many schools and colleges throughout the south east - aided by the fact that the company is run by two ex-teachers who know what schools and organising teachers need.

We aim to offer a high degree of personal service and are always available to come into school to discuss requirements without any obligation. We are happy to give presentations in assemblies to help promote trips to the students, and will also come in for evening slide shows/meetings with parents and students so that they have a chance to ask questions about matters concerning a course. Having been organising teachers for school trips ourselves in the past, we realise how much work there is involved - so we try to do as much of it as possible in order that teachers don't have to. We can offer courses in a number of venues, particularly the following areas:

· SUSSEX (near East Grinstead): This is our largest location, offering a huge range of activities from climbing indoors and at the local rocks, abseiling, canoeing, mountain biking at our own 240 acre bike park, high wires, orienteering and much more. Ideal for days, weekends and longer visits with everything in one place.

· PEAK DISTRICT: Very central and therefore easily accessible, and offers a wide range of activities. Our most popular area for trips outside of the south-east. Great for action packed weekends.

· LAKE DISTRICT: Beautiful scenery and the introduction of a mountain environment.

· FRENCH ALPS: An amazing venue with its great combination of exciting activities, beautiful scenery and ideal weather.
