The Lake District


Spend a relaxing weekend with your friends or colleagues trying out new exciting activities! No experience needed - expert instruction is provided by our very friendly staff for all of the activities.

We spend the weekend with you and make sure you have a great, action-packed time - we'll even take you to the best pub! Our instructors have years of experience of working with people are are picked for their friendly, relaxed nature - they certainly know how to get along with people!

 

Activities

Rock Climbing - On the crags of Borrowdale or Langdale, an ideal way to start climbing with all grades of climb.
Kayaking - on easy flat water on Windermere or Derwentwater, learn the basic skills and enjoy being on the water.
Mountain Biking - the Lake District has great bike trails to suit everyone and view the spectacular scenery of this region.
Abseiling - from rocks or a 100 foot quarry over an overhang!
Mountain scramble and hike - ascend the highest hills in the Lake District the exciting way!

All day Hike and scramble ascent of Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain

 Equipment

All specialist equipment is provided - rock boots, helmets, wetsuits, harnesses etc. as appropriate.
You will need: Waterproof jacket, Plenty of rough old clothes, Changes of footwear Swimming costume & towel
If camping: Sleeping Bag & mat

Typical Costs: Camping £127, B&B £168
Included: Instruction, all specialist equipment
Not included: Insurance, transport, lunch & pub meals
